Hi everybody! I am currently in the process of gamifying a service in high demand in my territory and found good traction with those to whom I have explained the program with a good amount of detail. Now, at this point, my problem is trying to create a pitch, a tagline, that gets the point across without alienating those who either, have a prejudice around the word GAME or those who do not understand the concept altogether. So far, my delivery sounds like (SERVICE NAME) - rewarding you for thinking green! (SERVICE NAME) - make your life into an adventure! what does everybody here think? thanks! M |

Hi, I know this problem also. My company is building whole new business models around the idea of gamification, serious games & alternate reality games in Germany. As you can imagine the Germans are not the most innovative people and the word 'gamification' sounds unserious and childish for the most ones around here. So, normally I'm trying to explain the 'gamification process' using the term 'engagement economy' and 'fun'. And it works ;-) I like the way Gabe Zichermann talks about gamification. If you need inspiration - listen to him. |
